If you receive your Newton News in time this is to remind you that the annual Xmas Community Concert is on at the Leisure Centre this Sunday 15th Decemebr from 2.30pm – 4pm. Admission FREE!
This is your opportunity to join in the carol singing and listen to local youngsters perform. It is a lovely event and this year a youth brass nand is brought together, by John Tobin, from Greenfield and Woodham Senior schools to accompany the singing.
George Dixon former head teacher at Heighington School will also play the organ and Santa Claus will make an appearance.
Town Mayor Barbara Clare and our MP, Phil Wilson will  attend to see some sparkling Xmas music. Come along and enjoy the start of the Christmas festivities in Newton Aycliffe.
