North East based charity Veterans at Ease is launching ‘Handbags and Sandbags’, a monthly Coffee Morning on Thursday 29th October at the Phoenix Club, MacMillan Road, Newton Aycliffe, Co. Durham DL5 4LG. The event, to be held from 9am to 11am, is being held to raise awareness of the work we do with veterans who are living with PTSD and other mental health issues following active service.
We also support their family members. Free Tea and Coffee will be available although the charity will gladly accept donations towards its work in providing therapy to those who are living with mental ill-health.
