People who struggle to carry out everyday activities due to illness or disability are being reminded about the Equipment Advice Service.
Specialist staff provide free, impartial advice and information on various aids, adaptations and equipment available to purchase to help people live independently.
They can offer advice over the telephone or via email to anyone who lives in County Durham.
A website, www.equip-yourself-durham.org.uk is also available offering a free and easy to use way of assessing a person’s own equipment needs.
