Former Woodham student, Tom Noble, has recently been included in the Durham Wildcats men’s BBL squad after being invited to train with them shortly before Christmas.
Tom has been part of the Wildcats junior programme for a number of years, having been introduced to the game at Woodham Academy whilst in year 7. Tom has represented Durham Wildcats in the National League at all junior levels as well as representing the North East Region at England Trials.
Tom is the latest of a long line of elite basketballers to have progressed through the Woodham programme overseen by Woodham Assistant Headteacher, Durham Wildcats Assistant Coach and Under 18’s coach Danny Morgans.
Danny said “I am delighted with the progress that Tom is making, he will benefit enormously from the quality of coaching he will receive from Dave Elderkin as well as the input of high quality players like Ralph Bucci”.
