The Rotary Club of Newton Aycliffe has honoured a former member Robert Manners with a Paul Harris Fellowship, one of the top awards for service to the club and community. Robert was a member until a few years ago when he had to resign due to work commitments. However he continued to organise the club’s annual Charity Golf Day for many years, encouraging teams to enter.
Robert is a director of long established builders, Manners & Son, in Bishop Auckland. He was overwhelmed when the award was announced and presented by President Tony Robinson (left).
