A new auto repair centre has opened on Aycliffe Business Park owned by local man, Nathan Barber. Motorfix Auto Repairs is located at Brighouse Court, Burtree Road and offers professional garage services specialising in vehicle diagnostics, servicing and repairs.
Born and raised in Newton Aycliffe, Nathan attended Woodham College and on leaving school took up an apprenticeship at Holiways where he remained until its closure recently. Nathan is a fully trained vehicle technician accredited by the Automotive Agency.
Nathan has always dreamt of owning his own garage and when Holiways closed it seemed like the perfect time to set up on his own. He said “losing my job was a real body blow but it gave me the nudge to pursue my dream of owning my own garage. I hope to establish a successful business by offering a friendly, reliable and honest service at reasonable prices.”
