Dear Sir,
Re: Article “We Know Who You Are”
I am so pleased this issue has been pointed out by another, as I noticed this myself and it annoys me.
Parts of the wood area, known as the backfields and parts of the Nature park, are where these bags of dog foul are thrown into bushes or propped up against trees etc.
Obviously the culprit thinks they are doing a “good thing” . . . as do those dog walkers who make a “tidy pile” next to an already full dog waste bin. Other examples would be where bags are left in car parks or along road sides – it’s just not right!
If the red dog bins are full or not in sight, then take it home with you. I have also witnessed dog walkers pick up their dogs mess in open areas then discard once under cover of trees.
On a more pleasing note with regard to Finleys WW2 Memorial to Aycliffe Angels:
This is fantastic – not only in respect of the women, but it is also more interesting, information on Aycliffe. Alongside other new developments such as Hitachi, UTC College etc. Jobs, Leisure Facilities, Employment – all putting Aycliffe on the map!
Best wishes – yours, forever picking up other people’s rubbish!
Miss C. B.
