Teams are being encouraged to sign up for a new five-a-side football league in County Durham.
The league is being set up by Durham County Council and will meet at Shildon-Sunnydale Leisure Centre on Thursday evenings between 7pm and 9pm from June 27.
Games will be played indoors in the main sports hall and each team will play one 30-minute game (15 minutes each way).
Each team can have five players on the pitch at a time and up to three substitutes.
Players must be at least 16-years-old and a maximum of 10 teams can enter.
Players must wear indoor trainers, not football boots, and shin pads.
It costs £20 per team each week and, as the league is affiliated to Durham FA, there will also be a one-off affiliation fee of £10.
The deadline for teams to enter is next Thursday (June 20).
To sign up, teams should contact David Curry at Durham County Council on 07881 268 938.
