Would you like to be part of huge national effort to prevent people going hungry in the UK? On the first weekend in July, Trussell Trust foodbanks will be collecting food donations at 608 Tesco stores across the UK. All donations will be used by local foodbanks to feed local people in food crisis.
We will be running simultaneous collections at 4 Tesco stores across County Durham, for 3 consecutive days. We depend on these collections to keep our stock levels up until harvest time. Today we have run out of some items in the foodstore.
There are numerous 2-hour shifts to fill. Could you volunteer to help one of these please?
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th July
9am – 5pm each day
Tesco, Newton Aycliffe
Shifts: 9am – 11am and 11am – 1pm
1pm – 3pm and 3pm – 5pm
