At the next meeting of Shildon and District Flower Club on Monday, 8th January, Lynne Dent from Woolybacks in Stanhope visits to talk about her passion – knitting. Not only does Lynne sell wool and patterns, but she designs and knits historically correct items for well-known television programs such as Inspector George Gently.
Thus will be an entertaining and fascinating evening focusing on a popular activity that is currently having a revival.
