Dear Sir,
Taking my dog for a walk today as usual to “The Pond” a workman was securing a fence around the bungalows due to be demolished at Travellers Green and asked me to assist him to fasten a bolt in position as vandals had entered the site and taken wood etc. On arrival at the pond I found wood, removed from the site, had been used for a fire in front of the seating area and bottles were floating in the pond.
Some bottles had been smashed in the pond and walking back through the wooded area adjacent to the bungalows I found more broken bottles.
Needless to say I won’t be visiting this part of our walk until the authorities sort it out. The welcoming signs should be rephrased or removed.
