“RESTING PLACE”
The “FEEL GOOD FILM SHOW” at St Clare’s Church on TUESDAY 27th FEBRUARY features the drama “RESTING PLACE” Starring Morgan Freeman and John Lithgow. 1972 in Georgia, USA, and the body of a black American lieutenant arrives home from Vietnam to be buried; then his family are told that he can’t be buried in the town cemetery, an all-white cemetery. Major Laird has the job of supporting the family, but finds that the lieutenant’s death was also suspicious. EVERYONE IS WELCOME. Tea and coffee are served at 1pm, included in the £2, and the film starts at 1.15pm.
