An exciting event takes place on Friday 21st April at St. Clare’s Church Hall, St Cuthbert’s Way – the premiere of a film entitled ‘Time Capsule’ is to be shown. Please get your tickets (only £3 per person) from ALLSORTS Charity Shop situated at St. Clare’s Church. ALLSORTS is open every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10.00am to 1.00pm but closed Saturday 15th April. This event is in aid of Friends of St. Clare’s who are at the moment seeking to purchase a defibrillator.
The film, is a Hammer Chewer Production, and documents the story of the James D. Robinson’s Time Capsule Project. Find out all about this very interesting historical event. Learn what is inside the capsule, how it was sealed and where it is being stored. Have your questions answered for example – What possessed James to develop this time capsule? At what future date will it be opened? James Robinson is a published writer and photographer and we are pleased he has agreed to be there for the premiere. Following the film he will be glad to answer any questions from the audience.
