Last week was an action packed half term at Greenfield Arts, with activities for children and young people every day! More than 60 children and their families joined us over the week for arts activities including making colourful geometric sculptures (now on display in the Arts Centre), Mask and wall hanging making, inspired by Chinese New Year, and jewellery making.
All the sessions were great fun and the children created some fantastic artwork and accessories. We also had our popular cooking sessions, where families worked with Season to Taste to make spring rolls inspired by Chinese New Year, and cupcakes.
Young people travelled with us to Newcastle to see a fantastic performance of Rapunzel at The Stage – an inspiring performance which the young people thoroughly enjoyed!
