David Wharton and his partner Susan from Aycliffe started ‘Bounceabout and Play’ at the beginning of 2013 after attending children’s parties with their own two daughters, aged 3 and 1. The couple enjoyed seeing the children playing together and interacting with others of a variety of ages and it motivated them to explore the children’s entertainment business.
After much market research and discussions with other established businesses, the couple picked out the products and chose their name. Bounceabout and Play’s product range includes three Bouncy Castles with a football and princess theme – each are suitable for children up to the age of 11. They also offer a toddler bouncy castle suitable for under 5’s with enclosed walls and a controlled entrance and exit, to ensure the smaller children can play safely.
Bounceabout and Play also offer a Soft Play Package, including a variety of soft play shapes, rockers, a large dice and a tunnel all on soft play mats. Completing the range is the Thomas Airflow Adventure – a fun maze of 4 pods and tunnels kept inflated by a continuous gentle airflow. This features favourites from Thomas the Tank Engine and is suitable for children up to 6 years old.
All the equipment required is supplied with each hire, set up and taken away at the end of the day. The products are available for hire seven days a week.
