Students at Greenfield Community College have settled well upon their return to the school site and have followed guidelines effectively to help support and create a safe environment for learning.
Staff, families and students have worked together to continue learning in a range of valuable ways and online learning platforms have been utilised brilliantly, as well, as a digital dimension both at school and at home. Students have benefited from expert teaching at Greenfield in a safe and secure environment for learning that encourages students to ask questions, discuss, explore their understanding to develop the skills and knowledge they need for their future choices.
Additionally, to further support, students have been provided with extensive resources which are being made available to enhance their learning experience and target areas of development. Greenfield have secured additional external support/teaching staff through the National Tutoring Programme (NTP) to add a further dimension and support to students at this time.
NTP state that “tutoring is designed to provide additional support to the high-quality classroom teaching that is the most powerful way to support children” and Greenfield would like to welcome NTP staff who will work alongside our expert teaching staff at this time.
Greenfield Community College are committed to developing skills that raise aspirations and support learning.
