Plans are well under way for a project exploring apprenticeships, careers, and the opportunities for young people on our doorstep in Aycliffe Business Park.
This project, which has been funded by GAMP AAP, will give young people in Year 9 at Greenfield the opportunity to visit some of the manufacturing companies based on Aycliffe Business Park in February, design their own company and present their ideas to representatives from each of the Aycliffe based companies.
We hope this will give them a better understanding of career opportunities in the local area, and an insight into what goes on at Aycliffe Business Park. We would like to thank those companies involved in the project, and GAMP AAP for this fantastic opportunity for our students.
