Greenfield Arts would like to thank everyone who came along to the recent preview evening to celebrate the opening of their new exhibition.
The event, organised by Sharron Bates and Creative Forum, was a great success with wonderful crafts and artwork on sale and a lovely festive atmosphere.
The exhibition, ‘Sharing Inspiration: An Appointment with Creativity’ will run until Wednesday 2nd January 2019 and showcases the arts and craft of the group who are based at Greenfield Arts. Led by mixed media artist Sharron Bates, the group meets each Friday, it was lovely to see them come together and showcase the fruits of their hard work.
The forum was created in response to Sharron’s own desire to surround herself with fellow creatives and acknowledge the importance of social interaction for artists and creatives in the area and has gone from strength to strength since it began in 2017.
A big thank you must also go to the Cree Men who have been busy making wonderful wooden stars, reindeers and snowmen which proved a very popular purchase on the evening.
