Woodham Academy continues to grow with the number of students on roll has increased by over 200 in recent years. A knock-on effect of this is the requirement for more staff.
This year saw the return of five previous students to either teaching or support staff roles. This takes the total to well over a dozen, and it may not stop there, with a few new positions currently being advertised.
School Business Manager, David Coates, has welcomed the appointment of all of the new staff “I think it says a lot for the community we are trying hard to create. All of the staff have told me how they have enjoyed returning to work at Woodham and that they have seen significant changes since they were here as a student. Where staff have already worked in other schools, they have been particularly complimentary about the standards of behaviour and focus of the students. This is everything we want to hear.”
