Tamara Taylor has been in Greenfield and Woodham schools as part of a partnership with  the RFU community programme and Newton Aycliffe Rugby club bringing rugby to schools in the Aycliffe area involving 10th an 11th year students.
Newton Aycliffe Rugby Club organise further training sessions at Moore Lane on Wednesday evenings 6 pm start. Rugby club head coach Pete Ryans runs these sessions and has been encouraged by the enthusiasm the students have for the game.
The Rugby club will continue to organise sessions for other new students who have not tried the game before. The objective will be to arrange another inter school match at the clubs ground early September.
These sessions will continue throughout the summer and will culminate with a mixed touch tournament and a Family BBQ.
