Welcome to the “new look” Newton News website.
Newton Press are proud this week to launch a new look website for our online Newton News readers. The site has been revamped after suggestions and comments from our regular readers both local and around the world.
We have taken the opportunity to create a site where not only can you read all the local news, but you are now also able to download a full PDF version of the current issue (available each Friday).
Because a website has unlimited space we are able to other items of news which may be of interest to Newtonians. We receive a lot of press releases from other organisations which are not based in Newton Aycliffe, but close enough for our town residents to get involved, participate or attend events in the county of Durham or the north east of England. To access this information, which will only be available on the website, click the “County News” tab above.
We hope this new layout and design will attract even more readers to our popular newspaper, which currently attracts over to 8,000 on-line hits a week. If you are a regular visitor to the Newton News website and you can see room for even more improvement, please let us know, we are always open to new ideas.
