Children and staff at St. Joseph’s School dressed up as book characters to celebrate World Book day last Thursday. A beautiful engraved wooden box was delivered to Nursery on the morning, with instructions for them to start a story. This box then travelled to every class so the children could write the next chapter. Nursery to Year 6 joined in. Head teacher Mr Atkinson gathered all the school together in the hall at 3pm and read every one their special story.
