Dear Sir,
Ref the letter in last weeks Newton News regarding the laptop appeal.
It is with satisfaction, on my part, that this is being orchestrated by one of the elected councillors. However, I feel that it is not necessary for an ex-councillor to bring politics into the situation. Could he not keep out of the work being achieved by a dedicated member of the public and not try to gratify his own overblown ego?
