On 18th July, Greenfield Arts opened a new exhibition entitled “Artifice” a collaboration of work from four artist friends working with the concept of “The End of the World”.
Dan Walls, Fred Thomas, Amy Morris and Graham Rispin all produced and displayed a wide variety of work in different media looking at themes such as space, society, nature, death and technology.
The gallery space itself has been utilised to the full, making use of the light to display both 2D, 3D and installation – the aim of the art is to be more than just aesthetically pleasing, but to be more conceptual and invite the viewer to question what they see and to remember it.
Lots of the pieces are for sale and prints are available on request. The gallery is open from 10.00am till 9.00pm Monday to Friday. For more information call into the Greenfield Arts.
