Junction 7 are now accepting donations of retired trades people.
Is your partner a retired trade’s person who has time on their hands? Are they getting under your feet and totally disrupting your daily routine? Junction 7 has the solution to your problem. Donate them a few hours a week to a good cause.
Are you a retired trade’s person with some time to spare and the desire to share your knowledge with those who need a helping hand, and a willingness to give something back to your community? If so, everyone at Junction 7 would like to hear from you.
Often retiring can leave some people with a lot of time on their hands with valuable skills and life experience going to waste. Retirement can be a wonderful thing but it can also be an anti-climax and be detrimental to general health and wellbeing with too much time on your hands and no real meaningful purpose to occupy your mind and keep your hands busy in a meaningful way.
Junction 7 are starting to work on a scheme to become a contact point for retired trades people of all skills and abilities who would like to volunteer some of their time and experience to help people in their community.
Junction 7 is situated at 7 Silverdale Place, they are open Monday and Thursday 10.00am till 2.00pm and you can contact them on 07543 989229 or their Junction 7 Facebook page for further details.
