National Animal Sanctuary Support League, (NASSL), paid a visit to Junction 7 food bank, who support the community in Newton Aycliffe.
The purpose of the visit was to deliver dog food and treats to benefit people visiting the food bank who have dogs and may be struggling to feed them.
NASSL are pleased to help in this way making sure family pets don’t go hungry either. Junction 7 said “we are delighted to have forged an alliance with NASSL which adds another dimension to our community work”.
NASSL are hoping to extend the donations of pet food to include cats. Donations of tinned dog and tinned cat food especially can be dropped off in their food bin in Tesco, Newton Aycliffe or can be collected.
