Dear Sir,
As a follow-up to Jackie Connell’s letter about the amount of overflowing dog poo bins in Aycliffe, I would like to make the Council aware of an incident which occurred on Sunday evening near Woodham Park. Whilst out power-walking with my friend Michael, deep in conversation, I trod on a rogue bag of faeces and slid over.
The bin was already full, so dog walkers had been leaving the extra bags nearby. The whole ordeal was humiliating, and I needed to wash my cream cardigan twice. Luckily I did not injure myself, but it could have been a lot worse, especially if my friend hadn’t been there to help me. I would like to say a big thank you to him, and hope the Council will take more care in emptying these bins in future.
