Dear Sir,
Four years ago “ARRIVA” introduced their premier “SAPPHIRE” bus service between Durham and Darlington with new dedicated buses, and drivers. These buses were later supplemented with double deckers.
Recently the service seems to have deteriorated with poor timekeeping and dirty buses where it is almost impossible to see out of the windows making difficult to see your stop, especially at night. Many of the buses have developed rattles, typical of the old buses.
“Dedicated Buses” seems no longer seems to apply all the time with a variety of buses operating and Sapphire buses appearing on other routes.
Are we heading for the poor quality of service that existed before the Sapphire service was introduced?
