Residents at Defoe Court Care Home have just completed a twelve week Older Persons Active Living programme (OPAL). Leanne Hopper from Get Active, County Durham NHS Foundation Trust came and encouraged residents to take part in the programme. They were awarded a medal and certificate on completion. The residents enjoyed taking part and are hoping to take on a similar course.
