This year’s Darlington Jazz Festival will be held from Thursday 23rd April until Sunday 26th April.
Since its launch in 2012, the festival has gone from strength to strength, providing a performance platform for both local and regional talent, including musicians from the Newton Aycliffe area.
The festival includes a jazz workshop on Thursday night at Darlington Crown Street Library, followed by The Matt Roberts Sextet playing at Voodoo Cafe on Friday night.
Saturday  includes various daytime events around Darlington town centre with a spectacular night of Big Band swing music at the Dolphin Centre’s  Central Hall from 7pm. The award winning Durham Alumni Big Band will be performing with special guests, Al Wood and Bruce Adams.
The festival concludes on Sunday  with performances throughout the day and night at St Augustine’s Parish Centre in Larchfield Street.
