We invite your readers to become daredevil superheroes and experience the ultimate adrenaline rush by abseiling the impressive Lake District Mega Abseil for Meningitis UK. Brave people will descend 140-feet down the towering Cathedral Quarry in Cumbria while observing some wonderful scenery on October 20th to support life-saving vaccine research.
Anyone interested should call the charity as soon as possible to secure their place. This will be a challenge to remember and everyone who takes part will be properly equipped and briefed and trained on how to reach the bottom.
The vertical challenge is held on Meningitis UK’s behalf by experienced company River Deep Mountain High. Participants will need to pay £39.50 each to sign up and are encouraged to raise as much as possible for Meningitis UK.
