As part of Greenfield Arts season, exploring the extraordinary in the everyday, join us for this unique creative arts workshop opportunity. Join artist and photographer Elaine Vizor for this historic and beautiful photographic printing process. Cyanotype has often been used in relation to nature and community, transforming everyday images into works of art.

The cameraless process first began in the 1840’s and was the first form of photography, often being used to illustrate nature and in more technical circles as a blue-print for engineering. The results are amazing and participants will be able to make a range of prints of their own on the day.

Learn the skills involved and produce your own cyan-blue prints to take home. The workshop will be held on Tuesday 24th September 10:30 – 14:30 and cost for the full session is just £35 including all materials and prints.

The session launches our Autumn programme of workshops, activities and events at Greenfield Arts that encourage us to see the beauty in the everyday.
