A team of five athletes from “CrossFit All Out” in Newton Aycliffe have recently qualified for a European competition to find the fittest “box” (aka gym) in Europe, with a second team of five from CrossFit All Out qualifying 52nd!
Over 100 teams entered for this prestigious title and after only a year since opening, to qualify for the Finals is a significant achievement in itself.
Terry Anderson, owner and Head Coach of CrossFit All Out says “We are very impressed at how well both of our teams have done, it’s not something we take for granted, we are constantly trying to strive for achievements within CrossFit All Out and we do take it pretty seriously. The support of all our members both competitors and non-competitors is great and we know the support at the May Finals in Colchester will be just as fierce as always.
We look forward to seeing where the competition takes us as a team and hope it inspires others to enjoy the competitive side to CrossFit. We welcome all new members and whether they choose to compete or not, we aim to support them to achieve their goals.”
Terry Anderson, Colin Wooster, Ash McFee, Kelly Jones and Yasmine Meite will compete in the Finals in Colchester, Essex on May 31st.
