7th Place – Team CrossFit All Out Out – Dan Woolley, Emma Heslington, Frazer Macintosh and Sophie Moffatt.
11th Place – Team CrossFit All Out – Becky Auton, Claire Dale, Paul Hilder and Tom Morgan.
3rd Place – Team All Out Master Blasters – Colin Wooster, Hayley Ashmead, Leigh Ann Bennett and Stewart Smith.
Hayley said, “We all had great fun at The Castle Games team of 4, we laughed from start to finish! There were some complex and challenging movements, with both me and Leigh getting our bar muscle ups for the first time at a competition. Big thanks to Colin Wooster for coming through to help us out, Stew for keeping us in line, and to everyone who came along to shout us on. We went into the final in first place, after some consistent second place finishes, however, after struggling with the handstand walks in the final, we ended up in third place overall. Brilliant day.”
Paul said, “We entered the Castle Games mixed 4s and had a great time competing together! Our best place finish was 5th on the weightlifting complex for the lads where Tom hit 122.5kg and I hit 110kg, and 9th for the girls with Becky lifting 72.5kg and Claire lifting 65kg. Overall we finished in 11th place. The worm workout was absolutely awful!! Big shout out to Claire for stepping in last minute”
Frazer said, “We went into the day with no expectations on where we would like to finish. We got our best finish in the first wod placing 5th overall. After 3 wods we found ourselves in the semi-final (top 7) finishing 6th in the semi-final wod meant we finished 7th overall.
Had a great day with the whole team, special mention to Emma who jumped in with a week’s notice to help us out.”
