• The County Durham Plan ‘Preferred Options’ has been published – there is a consultation event at Newton Aycliffe Youth & Community Centre, 3:30-6:30pm, Monday 25 June.
• Durham County Council is tops when it comes to ethical procurement, a Unison report has said.

• Aycliffe has a “world class heritage” in the Stockton & Darlington Railway, Friends of the S&DR Chair Trish Pemberton has told Great Aycliffe Town Council.
