Dear Sir,
All these letters about trees – I think these “Huggers” should have one near their house which cuts out the sun from the garden and blocks light through the windows and then has leaves to cope with in the Autumn, blocking drains etc.
And, now we are to get trees back in the new town centre layout producing more claims from people slipping on wet leaves. It will make a change from falling over paving stones. The pigeons will also have somewhere to perch and make more mess!
The only place for trees is in the countryside and forests where they look beautiful.
