As part of British Values week at St Joseph’s School, Councillors Kate Hopper and Eddy Adam visited the school council members to talk about their role as councillors of Great Aycliffe and Durham County Council.
The children asked questions and saw how similar their roles were to councillors and how they are all working to improve things.
The School Council received a commemorative plaque from councillors as a memento of their visit.
