Dear Sir,
Your readers should be made aware when calling Peasway Medical Centre and most other local practices, they use an 0844 telephone number. Once connected it is chargeable, irrespective of whatever price plan individuals are on.
This can cost a minimum of 40p and as is quite normal it could ring for 2-4 minutes and cost anything in excess of £1.
Surely an NHS Doctors Surgery should not be profiting from telephone calls from their patients!
