Following our front page story on the closure of Lloyds Pharmacy at Pease Way a spokesperson said:
“We are committed to offering the best healthcare services and advice to the customers we serve in Newton Aycliffe and have no plans to close the Lloydspharmacy in Peaseway Medical Centre.
We can confirm we are currently in the early stages of the process to review and update our opening hours for this pharmacy.”
This conflicts with a letter we have from the NHS which quite specifically states the Pharmacy will close.
We can only conclude it will close and re-open again with a revised contract and new hours.
