Rose Lodge Care Home, at Carers Way in Newton Aycliffe, are opening their doors to the public for a ‘Royal Community Tea Party’.
The event is being held in honour of National Care Home Open Day, which aims to encourage care homes across the nation to connect with their local community and build meaningful relationships with people in their area, and is being held in conjunction with the Queen’s birthday.
The Tea Party takes place on Saturday 21st April from 2-4pm. Rose Lodge will be serving a selection of complimentary afternoon tea cakes, treats and refreshments.
