With the co-operation of Wilko’s Store in Newton Aycliffe Town Centre, Community Spirit raffled off this beautiful Mother’s Day Hamper with all profits going into their Charity Fund.
Joanne Jones, of Community Spirit, made the hamper and together with other Volunteers manned the stall for two days, Joanne said “we benefitted from the excellent footfall that the Wilko’s store enjoys and a massive £355.00 was raised. The Wilko’s store staff were amazing too, so helpful and friendly”.
The hamper was delivered to the winner, Mrs Doris Kelly of Rowan Place, on Sunday morning.
