Community Spirit ‘Heroes & Princesses’ disco was a huge success and total sell out, even though we thought the bad weather would put people off, but even ‘superheroes’ are not scared of a bit of snow. It was our privilege to award two young people with the Community Spirit Award for help in the community.
Katelyn Stacey, a wonderful young lady who has gone through an enormous amount of operations, yet still wants to help other people. She has been with us volunteering at every event we do and is one of our Keep Aycliffe Tidy Team.
Alfie Heathwaite is an exceptional young man, part of the Keep Aycliffe Tidy Team and a person who wants to always help others and make Aycliffe a better place to live. Well done to you both.
If you feel someone has gone above and beyond in our community, we want to recognise it. Please contact us on communityspiritaycliffe@gmail.com
Also, we would like to offer the balcony at our discos for those who would like to make our event their birthday party. We know that parties can be expensive, so, for just for £5 deposit and 50p per head, the upstairs balcony can be decorated, you can bring your food or buy hot dogs 50p for each and bring your own birthday cake. Birthday photo booth and props are available and free glitter tattoo for the birthday person.
At our discos we have lots of fun and games and you can have your picture taken with a special guest. Please contact us on Facebook or via communityspiritaycliffe@gmail.com
