Several community groups including Acorn Community Association, Horndale Community Association, Neville Community Association, Junior Neighbourhood Watch, New Friends New Places, Junction 7, A.C.E. and Community Spirit are holding an open day on Saturday 10th August in the town centre to advertise the great work they carry out across Newton Aycliffe.
Each group offers different things to many people including days out, fun days, discos, community assistance, environmental work, food bank, help to those in need and much more, at the heart of all is a group of volunteers who give their time freely to improve the lives of others.
Come along and find out more about the work they do.
If you have any ideas or would like to help, it would be great to see you.
There will also be FREE face painting, balloon modelling by Professor Nincompoop and lots of freebies for all the family.
