Dear Sir,
I live at Cobbler’s Hall, and am increasingly concerned about the parking of commercial vehicles on local roads and residential streets.
In Woodham also commercial vans are parked most of the time outside of houses. If it is a narrow road it causes problems for the refuse collection wagons and also restricts the flow of traffic.
It could cause a serious accident if a child was on the opposite pavement as vehicles need to mount the kerb to continue their journey.
Large vans like this cause problems with access in and out of drives. I notice there are a number of people running a business from their home and they persistently park commercial vehicles on Cobbler’s Hall Road all the time and at weekends.
As I understand it a commercial lorry has to be parked at the address on its Operator’s Licence.
