Rose Lodge Care Home will be hosting a fine dining experience and opening it’s doors to guests to take part. This follows the home’s very popular ‘Come Dine With Me’ themed lunch events, where chefs go head-to-head to prepare lavish three course meals for guests who vote for their favourite menu,
Care Manager, Nicola Wheatley, said: “Our head chef David wanted to change it up this year, so instead of making it a head-to-head competition we are bringing our chefs together to work as a team. These events are always a lot of fun and very popular so we are really looking forward to our first Dining Experience event.”
Guests will be given a choice of two menus featuring a tomato and mozzarella or smoked duck breast salad starter, pan fried chicken with wholegrain mustard cream sauce or oven baked cod with herb crust main course and a lemon tart with vanilla cream or key lime pie with fruit coulis and cream for dessert.
