This is the final notice for the Free Community Christmas Concert to be held in the Leisure Centre on Tuesday 13th December from 1pm – 2.30pm. In addition to being entertained by our local schoolchildren the audience will be able to join in singing popular carols and Christmas songs. Schools taking part include Woodham Burn, Vane Road, Horndale, Aycliffe Village, Byerley Park, Sugar Hill, Stephenson Way and our two senior schools Woodham and Greenfield.
We have a special guest appearance of Shanaya Atkinson, a local talented teenage singer, currently preparing to compete in a national contest. This is a lovely community event organised by our town’s Rotary Club for nearly 30 years and everyone is warmly invited. Please bring an elderly person(s) with you to share in this joyful occasion.
