Byerley Park Primary pupils took it to a new level creating a design using hundreds of coins. The coins were collected over 10 days and competition between Year groups was fierce, in order to be the ones to collect the most. The Y6s succeeded, gathering in excess of £73 in spare change.
Each year was invited, in turn, to place their coins onto the design which featured the Olympic rings. Thanks to all parents who supported this venture and to those who came to see the finished and most impressive result. The money collected amounted to a massive £273.59 and is to be donated to the NSPCC.
