For over 10 years Coffee Pronto has served the residents of Newton Aycliffe with high quality food from their premises on Beveridge Way in the shopping centre. It was a case of “Upstairs – Downstairs”, a few years ago when the cafe relocated to new premises on the main ground level mall as part of the on-going redevelopment of the shopping centre (we will never forget the lifting!). Robin and Barbara Meredith (both qualified chefs), created the Coffee Pronto concept which has evolved to where we are today, a fresh, bright, environment where our many customers enjoy our home cooked food and ambience. Huey Watson, also a qualified chef, joined the team recently. To support the local area and customers, old and new, we have recently launched a Sunday Lunch takeaway and delivery service, which has proved an enormous success. So much so that we have now gone to a seven day a week takeaway and delivery service. Catering for all tastes from our widespread menu, including breakfasts. Outside catering, buffets and event catering are welcome, which we have been making available for all sorts of our customers’ requirements for quite a while now. Christmas is looming large and we are also pleased to announce evening Christmas Fare parties as the cafe will soon take on a Bistro/Christmas party feel in the evenings along with Christmas Day Fare for home deliveries (no cooking for you!) available to book now.
