The Great Aycliffe Cancer Support Group will hold its next coffee morning taking place in the shop and hub in Newton Aycliffe town centre, on Friday 1st March 2024 between 10.00am-12noon.
We welcome everyone from the surrounding area to come along and enjoy a cuppa and home-made cakes, and to find out how Great Aycliffe Cancer Support Group supports anybody within Newton Aycliffe and surrounding towns/villages who have been affected by cancer.
The charities activities are in line with the aim of the charity, to provide services to County Durham residents who require support following on from a cancer diagnosis. Services provided include the following:
• Providing information on issues affecting
cancer patients.
• Patient transport.
• Influencing cancer services in the future.
• Regular social activities, with others
affected by cancer.
• Assistance with benefits claims.
• Day trips, social events, meals out.
• Confidential and emotional support in a
safe and friendly environment.
• Use of our holiday caravans.
