Coop Stores and FuneralCare in West Auckland Road, West Park and Mowden worked hard over a two week period to raise £396.29 for our MRI Appeal. There were some cake bakes and rattling the collecting tins going on as they showed their support for the campaign. Store Manager Matty Caldwell said ‘My mum has needed the MRI Scanner and it brings it home to you how vital this technology is – I think we all know someone who has needed a scan.’ Charity Manager Pat Chambers said ‘We’re absolutely delighted that the Coop team choose to support our campaign, they have helped so much in raising the profile of the scanner appeal to staff, Coop members and the general public.
